Key Priorities
Building Thornton’s Future Together
-
A Safer Thornton for Every Family- Strengthening Public Safety in Thornton
Our Vision:
A safe community is the foundation of a strong, thriving Thornton. That means taking a comprehensive approach to public safety—including crime prevention, emergency preparedness, mental health support, and active community engagement.
I’m proud to have my campaign endorsed by Thornton Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2376, Adams County Sheriff Gene Claps, and District Attorney Brian Mason. These public safety leaders trust our campaign because they know I’m committed to smart, community-focused solutions that protect every neighborhood and reflect the real needs of our residents.
With the right partnerships and a proactive vision, we can make Thornton safer for every family.

Keeping Thornton Moving Forward - Enhancing Thornton’s Infrastructure and Traffic Management
Our Vision:
As Thornton continues to grow, we must stay ahead of the challenges that come with it—from increasing traffic congestion to deteriorating roads and safety concerns. That includes addressing issues like potholes on Highway 7, improving traffic flow, and ensuring safer intersections such as the 128th Avenue roundabout.
I fully support the Thornton Vision Zero initiative to eliminate serious injuries and fatalities for drivers, bikers, and pedestrians. Safety must be a priority for every resident, on every street.
By investing in smart infrastructure and long-term planning, we can keep Thornton moving, improve daily commutes, and protect our high quality of life.

Creating Opportunities for a Thriving Thornton.
Our Vision:
We must address the pressing challenges of rising costs, limited housing availability, and high interest rates. Homeownership is essential for long-term economic stability—and I will champion policies that support current homeowners while creating meaningful pathways for new buyers.
But growth must be smart and community-driven. We can develop our city into something everyone is proud of without compromising the integrity of our neighborhoods. That means thoughtful planning, responsible development, and preserving the character of the communities that make Thornton unique.
With the right leadership, we can expand opportunity, protect what matters most, and ensure Thornton continues to thrive—for everyone.

Enhancing Thornton’s Parks and Recreation for All
Our Vision:
A thriving community prioritizes diverse, accessible recreational spaces for all ages. I envision connecting our parks, green spaces, and trail systems so that every resident—no matter where they live—can enjoy all that our beautiful city has to offer.
We must also ensure our parks and public spaces are well-maintained, clean, and vibrant, reflecting the pride we have in our community. Investing in thoughtful park development and upkeep not only promotes healthy lifestyles but strengthens the sense of belonging across Thornton.
Let’s make Thornton a city where every neighborhood feels connected, cared for, and proud.

Building a Thriving Thornton for a Stronger Future
Our Vision:
As a current member of the Adams County Regional Economic Partnership (AC-REP) Development Council, I’ve spent years working to strengthen our local economy—and I’m ready to bring that experience to Thornton City Council.
I envision a diverse, forward-thinking economy that supports small businesses, encourages innovation, and invests in workforce development. By fostering entrepreneurship and attracting quality employers, we can expand economic opportunity for residents across Thornton—while keeping our community values at the heart of growth.
Let’s build a stronger, more inclusive Thornton—where everyone has the chance to succeed.

Investing in Thornton’s Future – Our Youth
Our Vision:
A vibrant youth population is the heart of Thornton’s future. I envision a city that partners closely with our schools and families to support educational programs and create opportunities for young people to explore their interests, grow their skills, and build bright futures.
As Vice Chair of the Adams 12 Long Range Planning Advisory Committee (LRPAC)—a community-led group that advises the Superintendent and Board of Education—I work directly on short- and long-term solutions to address the district’s facility and capital needs. I understand the importance of ensuring our schools are safe, modern, and equipped to serve every student.
By investing in our youth today, we’re building a stronger, smarter, and more connected Thornton for tomorrow.

Committing to a Sustainable Future for Thornton with Common Sense Approach
Our Vision:
Thornton’s future depends on smart, sustainable choices. I’m committed to practical, balanced solutions that protect our environment, improve quality of life, and make economic sense—without placing unnecessary burdens on taxpayers or small businesses.
Whether it’s improving energy efficiency, supporting green infrastructure, or expanding access to parks and transit, sustainability should work for everyone. That means investing wisely, planning responsibly, and always putting Thornton’s long-term health and prosperity first.
Together, we can build a greener, more resilient Thornton—the right way.
